The Malle 2017 World Para Dance Sport Championships will be held at the Provincial Training Centre Malle (PVC).
The facilities are particularly suitable for a wheelchair dance competition at an international level. There are accessible halls for the competition, the dressing rooms, warm-up area, the classification, catering facilities etc.
See the virtual visit of the PVC below.
The competition hall
The multi-purpose hall of the PVC (41m x 25m) will be equipped with a qualitative wooden dance floor of 25m x 14m.
During the competition there will be permanent live-streaming embedded on the site of the IPC.
The second hall (with wooden floor - 26mx20m) next to the competition hall, will be divided into a dressing room and an excercise room that during the competition days will be permanently available for warming up and rehearsal. There will be water and fruit available for athletes only.
Also there will be a maintenance service in case of technical problems with the wheelchairs.
During the two days of the competition the cafeteria will be open.
Drinks and snacks are available at reasonable prices.
For all people who booked meals, there is the opportunity to have lunch (sandwiches) and dinner (warm meal) during certain hours of the competition days.
These times will be communicated well in advance.
Due to the many events and the large number of participants, it may not be possible to interrupt the competition on Saturday for the warm meals. We aim to end earlier on Sunday evening so that we can have dinner together after the closing ceremony.
