Dansprovant is an association that works for the physical and mental health through dance in all its forms and for everyone. We focus particularly on wheelchair dancing.
Dansprovant started in September 2008 with a first course. Meanwhile, our club has about 20 wheelchair users every week can enjoying themselves dancing, both in mechanical, electrically driven or pushed wheelchairs.
Our association has been recognized by the City of Antwerp and the Province of Antwerp.
Sport & Handicap vzw
Sport and Handicap Limburg vzw is an association located in the Belgian province of Limburg, founded in 1997 with two main objectives:
* Formation of athletes with a disability and their trainers and staff in order to, by sport, promote the social integration of people with a disability.
* At national and international level, organizing and (allow to) participate in sports activities to promote the sport for persons with a disability.
The association grew from the various sporting events which were organized by GSV Toekomst, a Belgian Sport club for athletes with a disability.
Kiwanis is a worldwide volunteer organisation, headquartered in Indianapolis USA, with the goal of improving the living environment of the disadvantaged.
Their credo is universal and simple: "Treat another as you want to be treated yourself!"
Kiwanis is doing fundraising and helps welfare organizations working non-profit to the mass improvement of disadvantaged children (Serving the children of the world).
In Europe, the operation of Kiwanis is coordinated from Ghent. The affiliated local clubs work autonomously and choose their social goals themselves.
In Malle we prefer regional, well-defined projects.
Belgian Paralympic Committee
The Belgian Paralympic Committee wants to provide Paralympic athletes the opportunity to excel in their sport and to be a source of inspiration for the Belgian society through their sport performances.
The Belgian Paralympic Committee (BPC) represents the Paralympic Movement and its values in Belgium and is recognized by the International Paralympic Committee. The Belgian Paralympic Committee has two members: Parantee-Psylos and Ligue Handisport Francophone.
Parantee-Psylos the Flemish unisportfederatie for persons with disabilities. We create opportunities so that all persons with disabilities according to their own needs, opportunities and aspirations, can make a healthy and quality way to sport and exercise.
Parantee Psylos-profit organization focuses on the opportunities and demands that each G-athlete has the ability to exercise quality.
Parantee-Psylos association ensures knows the area and recognizes that every person with a disability has the opportunity to play sports.
The Belgian Wheelchair Dance Federation (BeFR) gathers all the active wheelchair dance groups in our country.
The Federation has three main objectives:
* Organizing the sportive (competitive) wheelchair dancing in Belgium
* promoting recreational and competitive wheelchair dancing in general
* Setting up workshops, training of new instructors and supporting starting clubs
the organization of this World Championship is one of the highlights of our federation
Belgische Unie van Dansleraren
BULDO stands for "Belgian Union of Teachers".
It is the only Belgian professional association for dance teachers and has existed since 1921. The professional association aims to promote dance both recreationally and sportively by raising the professional skills of its members.
Therefore BULDO organizes high level training courses for dance teachers.
Due to the thorough education through workshops and congresses, BULDO teachers guarantee up-to-date and high-level dance lessons.
Dancesport Flanders already exists more than 50 years and is recognized and subsidized by Sport Flanders.
Dancesport Flanders aims to bring dance culture and promote dance in all aspects of life.
We want as many people incite stylish dance, both recreationally and competitively.
To achieve this goal, we want to form competent dance teachers and club boards to help build a modern dance club / school.
Belgian Dance Sport Federation
The Belgian Dance Sport Federation aims to coordinate all activities regarding dancing, both on an administrative and a sport level.
It organizes, provides advice and promotes dance practice, promotion and dissemination of dance. It ensures the coordination of the dance sport on a national level, and in all fields of expertise and is able to coordinate other forms of dance.
It also aims to group all Belgian associations whose purpose is in conformity with the specified current statutes.
